Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, speaking in the National Assembly on Monday, said that the general elections will be held in October next year.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the people will support the truth in the next general elections and not vote in favour of the one who wants to stoke anarchy and divide the nation.

The Information Minister strongly regretted the slander campaign of the PTI against the PML-N leadership saying the previous government targeted only political opponents and registered fake cases against them.

She said the PTI is not a political party but a propaganda group which during its tenure in power destroyed both the economy and society.
