PPP leader and former Sindh chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has called upon the Sindh-based Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) to accept its defeat in the Feb 8 polls, insisting that their candidates were not destined to win due to their “poor performance” in the past.

Speaking to journalists in Islamabad, Shah said the people of Sindh were still ardent followers of late PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

He added that Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also deserved commendation for efficiently managing the party affairs.
