GDA, MQM-P and JUI-F form alliance in Sindh

Grand Democratic Alliance, MQM-P and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) announced to form Alliance for the general elections in Sindh, three parties expressed no confidence in Justice (Retd) Maqbool Baqir, and demanded the removal of provincial election commissioner, to halt inter-provincial transfers of the officials. New alliance also decided to talk to the Pml-N and nationalist parties for a broader spectrum.

Dr Safdar Abbasi, Sardar Abdul Rahim, Dr Farooq Sattar, Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro addressed a press conference at Functional House Clifton on Tuesday. Rana Ansar Naqvi, Khwaja Izharul Hassan, Irfanullah Marwat, Hasnain Mirza, Abdul Razzaq Rahmon, Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani, Allama Abdul Karim Abid, Javed Hanif, Jagdish Ahojani, Khwaja Naveed Amin and others were also present on the occasion.

GDA Secretary General Dr Safdar Abbasi said that those who were involved in the loot for the past 15 years in Sindh are still and working on the agenda of the PPP, if the situation remains the same, we will uncover the names of these officials.

Safdar Abbasi said the people of Sindh breathed a sigh of relief after the provincial assembly dissolved in wake of forthcoming general election.
