To enhance the safety of its workforce, the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has entered into a strategic agreement with the Gilgit Baltistan Scouts to provide comprehensive security for the Diamer Basha Dam Project (DBDP).
In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between WAPDA/DBDP and GB Scouts to provide security to the project, Gwadar Pro reported on Thursday quoting an official statement.
The MoU was signed by Engineer Nazakat Hussain, General Manager and Project Director of DBDP, on behalf of WAPDA, and Brigadier Arsalan Israr Mirza, Director General of GB Scouts.—INP
