Says will put forward demands of Pashtoon Jirga to federal Govt

While expressing serious concerns about the health of incarcerated PTI Chief Imran Khan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur Monday said the Federal Government was forcing us to hold a protest demonstration in favor of our demands adding “We are coming to Islamabad today (October 15).
“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is fully prepared to hold a protest demonstration in Islamabad on October 15. We are going to Islamabad on October 15 for which we are ready as always,” the PTI leader told media persons at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.
He said the PTI leadership was deeply concerned about the health and well-being of the party’s Supremo Imran Khan
“PTI’s leadership has serious reservations over the health condition of the imprisoned party founder, Imran Khan and the coalition government in the center is forcing us to hold a protest demonstration in favor of our demands,” Ali Amin Gandapur maintained.
In the meanwhile Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has decided to put forward the demands of the Pashtoon Jirga held in Khyber District to the Federal Government after taking the provincial assembly into confidence. “We will discuss the demands of the Pashtoon Jirga in the assembly session”.CM KP said.
It may be recalled that Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur chaired a grand Jirga at CM house KP on October 10 where Major Political Parties had wowed to ensure lasting peace in KP. The Jirga participated by all most all the Political Parties of the country including ruling PML N, PPP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Awami National Party (ANP) and Federal Interior Minister MohsinNaqvi besides other stakeholders, was held in the backdrop three-days Qaumi Jirga (termed as a parallel judicial system) held from October 11 and announced by PashtoonTahaffuz Movement (PTM) that has been declared a proscribed organization a few days back and whose Chief ManzoorPashteen along with fifty other comrades has been included in the fourth schedule list.
Gandapur said that the representatives of all tribes and different political parties held consultation over the issues of Pashtuns and assured that being the Chief Minister of KP he would try his best to ensure the implementation of the suggestions floated in the Jirga as per law and the constitution.
