Futsal World Association provides coaches to train Pakistani players

President, Futsal World Association (AFM), Dr. Rolando Alarcon Rios, said that the Futsal World Association will provide coaches to train Pakistani players.

After the concluding ceremony of the World Cup Futsal, he was talking with the media. President, Islamabad Futsal Association, Rana Tanveer Ahmed, Office Secretary, Ruth Zarate and Chief Organizer of the World Cup, Alba Ayrios were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Rolando, said that winning and losing is a part of the game and Pakistan has a lot of talent of futsal but the players need to be trained and polished.

He said that Futsal World Association would arrange for Pakistan team to participate in international competitions so that these players could also make their country famous in other world.

The President of AMF said that Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup from Asia is welcome as the Indian team was not to participate in the World Cup but could not do so due to Corona.

Twelve countries took part in the event including, Brasil, Cataluna, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Pakistan, Paraguay, Urugauy,Ecuador and EE. UU. Brazil won World Cup Futsal after beating by 3-1 goals while Paraguay and Argentina obtained 3rd and 4th position respectively.—PR
