Funds approved for students of VTI

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad has accorded approval to release Rs. 2916000/ funds for providing educational stipend to male and female students of Vocational Training Institutes (VTI) working in the district Hafizabad. This approval was given in a meeting of District Zakat Committee. District Zakat Officer Mian Sanaullah, Principals of VTIs and other members attended the meeting.

It was told in the meeting that amount would be disbursed among 172 under training students of Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian and KoloTarar VTIs.

Meanwhile, DC Sundas Irshad also presided over a meeting of district heads of different department and review progress on cleanliness and Chief Minister’s Publik Welfare Initiatives.

Taking notice of the worst unhygienic condition in Fruit and Vegetable Market Hafizabad, she directed the officers concerned to improve cleanliness in the market without any delay. She directed the officers of MC Hafizabad to shift filth depot from Gujranwala Road near defence road to another place immediately. She also directed the officers of Irrigation Department to clean all drainages in the district before Rainy season.
