The five-day free medical consultation event, which Pakistan Qihuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Center (Chinese Hospital) held with support of Chinese embassy, ended on Friday. “The event was held to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan,” Dr. La Jie Lian, the head of the hospital said while talking to Pakistan Observer.

He added that free medical checkups, including blood routine, urine routine, blood glucose test, electrocardiogram and chest X-ray, etc. were provided to Chinese expatriates and ‘Pakistani brothers’ during the event. “First aid kits (containing emergency medicines, first aid bandages, disinfectants, etc.) provided by the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan were also distributed free of charge among the visitors,” Dr. La Jie Lian said.
