The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) is the key provincial department responsible for managing and maintaining land records.
It offers a service which enables people to verify the ownership and legal status of properties available for purchase in the province.
How to Online Check Property Ownership in Punjab
You need to follow these steps to check the ownership of a property:
Visit the PLRA official website at Punjab-zameen.gov.pk.
On the homepage, you will see the category of ‘Property Registration’
Select your district and service centre.
You can search by various options, including Bahi number, ID card, registration number, or person name.
Enter the required details and hit ‘Search’ button to view the land ownership details.
