Ayesha Rajab Baloch, a former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, on Saturday announced her allegiance to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

Ayesha announced her joining with the IPP after meeting Jahangir Khan Tarin at the party office. She also lauded the party’s vision and objectives, and expressed trust in the leadership. The development took place at the moment when only four days are left from the general elections. Jahangir Khan Tarin welcomed Ayesha and extended the party’s emblem to her, symbolizing her formal inclusion. She pledged her support to Hamayun Akhtar Khan, a prominent IPP figure in Tandlianwala.

Ayesha Rajab Baloch, the widow of former MNA Rajab Ali Baloch got disheartened when the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz did not award her party ticket. She decided to contest election as an independent candidate. Ayesha Rajab Baloch applied for a party ticket from NA 97 Tandianwala.
