Sardar Kamal Khan Chang, the former MNA from Badin and estranged leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has refused to withdraw his candidature on PS 71 Badin in favour of PPP’s candidate.

Sardar Chang, who also remained the first Zila Nazim of Badin district, after being denied the party ticket revolted the party’s decision and filed his nominations from various constituencies of the district as an independent candidate and has now become strong contender on PS 71 Badin. Kamal Chang, who has started vigorous campaign in Badin taluka was supposed to withdraw his candidature on PS 71 in favour of Haji Taj Mohammad Mallah of PPP during the visit of Aseefa Bhutto Zardari in Tuesday but he made all such rumors wrong and stayed away from the public rally held under the leadership of Ms Bhuuto in Badin town.

Sardar Kamal Chang talking to this reporter said that he would never withdraw in favour of any candidate and claimed that he was in a better position to win the provincial seat against his rivals from GDA, PPP and PTI-backed independent candidates.
