Foreign Observers hailed the election process and management World leaders send congratulatory messages to President lham Aliyev

Several world leaders have sent congratulatory message to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev following the successful conclusion of the Parliamentary elections on Sunday.
Dozens of foreign observers have endorsed and hailed the election process in Azerbaijan and called it as ‘transparent and fair”.
An Observer from Germany, Germany’s Berlin city Onur Oguz Dellal said that “The parliamentary elections were held at the proper level, in accordance with the laws of the country.” “While observing the elections, no violations were reported from both the members of the election commissions and voters,” the observer added.
He observed that “The best possible conditions were created for voters, namely, for those in the polling station which we visited.”

Similar comments were also released by French, British, Danish, Bosnian and Ukrainian observers who lauded the election’s fairness and termed it an exemplary for others.
An observer from France, Valentin Escude, noted that the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were held at a high level of fairness and in accordance with international standards”.
Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Predrag Kožul also noted that the parliamentary elections held in Azerbaijan were democratic.
“I can say with absolute certainty that other European countries should use the electoral experience of Azerbaijan. Most candidates are young people here,” Predrag Kožul observed.
A British observer Peter Douglas Banks noted that “Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were organized and held in accordance with international standards for democratic elections.”
Niklas Milthers, a member of the observation mission from Denmark, said at a press conference in Baku that ‘The recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were held in full compliance with the country’s Electoral Code.’
Milthers added that Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) provided observers with all the necessary materials about various public organizations, political parties, candidates and constituencies for productive work.
Ukrainian observer Khristina Khomik said at a press conference in Baku that ‘the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament were held successfully and in accordance with the law.”
According to her, the early parliamentary elections of Feb. 9 while maintaining highest standard.
She lauded the security officials and said “First of all, I’d mention the security measures taken during the election process.” She also noted that sufficient numbers of surveillance cameras were installed, at each polling station to ensure transparency”.
Members of the observation mission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly also lauded the election transparency and management.
Samil Ayrim, member of the observation mission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group, congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the successful elections.
At the event held following the results of observations in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan,
Turkish MP Orhan Erdem in his statement of appreciation said that on the Election Day, observers were divided into two groups and monitored the voting process in Baku and Sumgayit cities.
Meanwhile Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to contratulate Azerbaijan Leader and the State for successfully holding the fair and free elections.
The Azerbaijani President and the Georgian Prime Minister hailed the development of friendly relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that the bilateral ties would continue to expand.
Meanwhile on Monday President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group led by Shamil Ayrim. An Observer from Germany also called on the Azeri President to congratulate him for holding successful elections.
According to latest news President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also received head of the CIS observation mission and First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Viktor Guminsky.
