District Police Officer South Waziristan Shabbir Hussain Shah paid an emergency visit to sub-division Wana headquarter after assuming charge. All the SHOs including DSP HQ and DSP Circle in Wana received a warm welcome from the officials. The DPO took a detailed briefing about the security of the ongoing polio campaign and expressed satisfaction.
DPO gave instructions and said that there will be no compromise on polio campaign security. Full-proof security should be ensured for all the teams, under the supervision of all the security personnel, the entrance and exit routes will be blocked, and suspicious persons should be kept a close eye. Negligence in this regard will not be tolerated in any case after the DPO visited the most sensitive places including blockades on the entrance and exit routes of the city and made a detailed assessment of the security situation. He encouraged them to meet the security officials and issued instructions to provide all possible facilities.
The DPO also visited the police station city Wana, which was affected by the terrorist attack, where the SHO Wana city issued orders to immediately remove the old sandbags and install new sandbags in view of the security of the police station and made a detailed review of the security of the police station and encouraged the personnel present in the police station, said the DPO that Waziristan Police is a professional force consisting of brave men and officers which I am proud and happy to command.
