Flour prices in Karachi have seen a sharp decline, marking the second reduction in prices within two weeks. The Karachi Commissioner announced a significant drop in flour rates, with the price of chakki flour decreasing by Rs 10, now set at Rs 105 per kilogram.
In the wholesale market, fine flour prices dropped by Rs 3, now priced at Rs 92 per kilogram. The retail price for fine flour also saw a decrease of Rs 3, bringing it down to Rs 96 per kilogram.
Additionally, the price of 2.5 kg atta has dropped by Rs 5, with the new wholesale price fixed at Rs 85 per kilogram.
The retail price for 2.5 kg atta has also fallen, now available for Rs 89 per kilogram. The price reduction brings some relief to consumers in the city, as the cost of essential commodities continues to fluctuate.
