Special Assistant to the Chief Minster Sports and Youth Affairs, Punjab, Umer Farooq has imposed fine of Rs.25000/ on a flour mills of Hafizabad to take notice of complaints of consumers during the visit of Sahulat Bazaars Hafizabad for providing substandard wheat flour in market, on Monday. .
While talking to reporters, after visiting Sahulat Bazaar on Alipur road and Kassoki Road, he said that provision essential commodity to people on cheaper prices and good quality was top priority of the Punjab government and chief minister of the Punjab was monitoring demand and supply of daily used items to people.
He said that hoarders and profiteers were not deserving any concessions and strict action were being taken against hoarders and profiteers in the province. He said that due to positive steps, artificial dearness was control significantly in the province and prices of food items would be decreased further soon.
