PESHAWAR – At least five labourers were killed after unknown gunmen attacked an under-construction police station in a remote area of tribal district of South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Police told media that the incident occurred late Thursday, adding that one of the workers was also injured in the incident.
The bodies and the injured worker have been shifted to a district hospital in Wana while security forces have cordoned off the area for investigation.
Meanwhile, District Police Officer (DPO) Farmanullah said complete details will be shared with media once the investigation is completed.
