Five day anti-polio campaign from January 15

5-days anti-polio campaign will be launched from January 15 under auspicious of District Health Authority Hafizabad and 998 anit-polio teams have been constituted to administer drops of polio vaccine to 234500 children up to five-years-old in the district Hafizabad.

This was informed the meeting of District Anti-Polio Committee held to review arrangements for making the campaign successful and result-oriented. Administrator District Health Authority and Deputy Commissioner Touqeer Ilyas Cheema presided over the meeting.

Representatives of WHO, UNICEF, Officers of health, population welfare and other departments attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, DC said that to save children from this crippling disease of polio was our national obligation and officers and officials of all concerned departments would be perform their duties with dedication and passion of serving the nation and getting blessing of Allah almighty so that no a single child left without vaccination in the area during the campaign.

DC directed that cooperation of local ulema, teachers, traders, social workers, civil society be sought for creating importance of polio vaccination among people in the area as well as making the anti-polio campaign successful.
