The first post-Hajj PIA flight, PK 860, arrived in Karachi from Jeddah on Thursday afternoon, bringing back 160 pilgrims. The pilgrims were welcomed by PIA District Manager Umar Khan, Airport Manager Javed Pechuho, and other PIA officials. PIA is set to bring back over 35,000 pilgrims from Saudi Arabia through 171 flights.
This includes approximately 19,500 pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme, 14,900 under private Hajj schemes, and about 630 Hajj support staff. Post-Hajj flights will operate to Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, and Peshawar.
