The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Shaheed Benazirabad has signed a landmark agreement with the Inter Board Coordination Committee (IBCC) to facilitate online verification of educational certificates through data sharing. The agreement was formalized during a ceremony held at the Board’s conference hall on Tuesday, where IBCC Executive Director Ghulam Ali Mullah and BISE’s Controller of Examinations Ehsanullah Bhutto were the signatories. In remarks to media representatives, Ghulam Ali Mullah highlighted that the Shaheed Benazirabad Board is the first educational board in Sindh to initiate such an agreement with the IBCC.

He explained that this partnership is designed to streamline the verification process and provide secure access to students’ data, significantly enhancing the efficiency of educational record verification. Mullah noted that the new system will allow for instant verification of educational records and eliminate the need for supplementary exams, as only annual examinations will be conducted moving forward.

He emphasized that the Shaheed Benazirabad Board is leading the way in adopting IT solutions, adding that the IBCC has developed uniform examination papers for all boards across Sindh. Ehsanullah Bhutto, the Board’s Controller, along with Secretary Abdul JabbarAraeen, stated that the agreement reflects the vision of Chairman Dr. Muhammad Farooq Hassan to modernize the verification process. Under the terms of the agreement, the Board will grant IBCC access to its portal, ensuring secure data sharing for verification purposes. Both parties committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the shared data, which will be used exclusively for verification. The collaboration is expected to significantly reduce delays in the verification process, benefiting both students and educational institutions alike. The ceremony was attended by various officers from the Board and representatives from different universities, underscoring the collective commitment to enhancing the educational framework in the region.
