Allied Fireworks Delivers Landmark Pyromusical Show at Marqa-e-Haq Monument
I first met Shahid Butt Sahib , CEO Allied Fireworks when our government commissioned his team to mount a fireworks display on the second independence day of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat as Pakistan’s gift to the new brotherly Central asian country that we , after Turkey , had been the second country to recognize as indeed we did all the Central Asian Republics .
At that time we had a special plane carrying Economic minister Sardar Aseff Ahmed , my old friend from Oxford days , leading a delegation to all the Central Asian Republics , and with him veteran Anbassadors Ashraf Qazi from Moscow , Riaz Muhammad Khan from Alma Atya , prominent Pakistani businessmen including pioneer in Soviet Union and later the Central Asian Republics – Taqub Tabani , with Farhat Hussain Joint Secretary Economic Affairs Division as the Secretary to the delegation who subsequently wrote the White Paper of the Government on the visit – which needs to be digitalised for historical posterity .That fireworks display was so much appreciated in Turkmenistan that parts of it became the logo of the opening of Turkmen TV.
I have watched his and his company Allied Fireworks career and progress since 1993, glad to see it placing in the top two in international Fireworks Competitions recently in Russia and China and becoming a regional leader in pyrotechnics , and incorporating music , lasers and multiple formation flying drones. Therefore I was glad to see in ISLAMABAD as Independence Day began that Allied Fireworks proudly achieved another remarkable milestone with the successful delivery of a grand-scale pyromusical fireworks display at the inauguration of the Marqa-e-Haq Monument and Independence Day celebrations in Islamabad. The spectacular show, designed and executed to international standards, introduced a new benchmark for large-scale pyrotechnic presentations in Pakistan. For the first time in the country, 200-foot-high fireworks towers were installed, creating an unprecedented sense of scale, height, creativity and visual impact.
The breathtaking display was witnessed by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief Ministers and other distinguished dignitaries. The fireworks were precisely synchronized with music and beats, creating a powerful fusion of technology, choreography, music and pyrotechnics. The landmark presentation transformed the Islamabad skyline into a spectacular celebration of national pride and freedom, offering audiences an experience unlike any previous fireworks display in the capital.
With this achievement, Allied Fireworks once again demonstrated Pakistan’s growing capabilities in world-class pyrotechnic production and show technology, delivering a technically and visually brilliant show . I look forward to Shahid Butt Sahib with his two sons Muhab and Mirwaiz projecting through fireworks, and augmenting our soft cultural power abroad . It is for our Embassies abroad and Export promotion bodies at home to give support to this non traditional export of our services in this field .
