Firdous offers ‘Burnol’ for opponents wounds Says govt to expose those spewing poison against state with help of people

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday said that the government with the help of people will expose those handful foreign agents and their facilitators who are spewing poison against the state institutions.
“People and media both are fully aware that all efforts of anti-state elements to save their plundered money have been failed,” she pointed out. She also criticized futile efforts of Begum Safdar Awan for the sake of power.
“Public meeting is the beauty of democracy but no one will be allowed to act against the country in the garb of processions.”
These views were expressed by Special Assistant to Chief Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan while addressing the press conference at Directorate General Public Relations. She said that opposition is upset over her appointment, however she offers “Burnol” for their wounds. She said that the government has taken revolutionary measures for providing relief and resolving problems of the farmers. The question should be asked from the wicked group which is supporting farmers that why did not they increase support price of crops in their tenures. This is a PTI government, which increase the support price of wheat up to Rs300 and paid Rs175 billion to the sugarcane growers. A policy of setting up of journalists’ colonies throughout the province is being introduced for solving the residential problems of homeless journalists.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that DGPR would be set on modern lines. She said that digital communication academy will prove to be a milestone for the capacity building of journalists and representatives of Information Department.
LAWS ENACTED TO PREVENT CHILD MARRIAGE
Punjab Minister HR&MA & Chairman Task Force Ijaz Alam Augustine along with Punjab Additional Chief Secretary Khawaja Shaukat Ali chaired 6th meeting on Human Rights Task Force.
In the meeting human rights policy, 2018 and action plan to implement HR policy reviewed in details. Deputy Secretary HR&MA M Yousaf briefed to the chair that Punjab human rights policy was formulated and notified by department, for implementation of HR policy a well defined action plan was prepared and also shared with all stakeholders. He further briefed that after completion of three years policy would be reviewed in January 2021.
