Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has alleged that the PML-N made ways to the power corridors by rigging elections thrice.
She said that the nation feels pride in the self-reliance vision and character of PM Imran Khan but the looters are against it because they want to continue the era of loot and plunder.
Talking to the media at DC Office Sialkot on Wednesday, she said that Imran Khan has emerged as a strong ambassador of the rights of oppressed Kashmiris and exposed the Hindu supremacist Modi before the world.
The Kashmiris are standing with Imran Khan and they consider him as their messiah. She said that people rejected PML-N in GB and the Kashmiris will also kick them out from AJK.
Dr. Firdous regretted that the fake princess is maligning state institutions to pressurize the government for personal benefits and spewing venom against the armed forces. She is engaged in nefarious propaganda as the defeat of PML-N is looming large.
Everybody knows that the PML-N exploited the Kashmiris and no development work was done in AJK.
How can the friends of Modi be sympathetic to the Kashmiris, she questioned?
She said the PTI government has fulfilled its promise of transparent inquiry into the Rawalpindi Ring Road project. PM Imran Khan and CM Usman Buzdar have adopted a zero-tolerance policy against corruption.
Imran Khan has proved that he is protecting national wealth and resources in true letter and spirit and all corrupt will be dealt with an iron hand, she said.
The Special Assistant to CM said the Anti-Corruption Establishment arrested the former Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Muhammad Mahmood and chairman land acquisition Waseem Tabish after an FIR was lodged against them.
She said the former commissioner made illegal changes in the actual plan of the Rawalpindi Ring Road to benefit some influential persons including former CM Shehbaz Sharif’s Principal Secretary Tauqeer Shah.
She said that NAB has been requested for further investigation of Rawalpindi Ring Road as the housing societies robbed the innocent people by misleading them.
She said that officers involved in the Ring Road scam may face penalties for misuse of authority, disciplinary action and removal from service. All those who looted the national exchequer are being brought to justice, she said.
Dr Firdous said that bondmaids are leveling baseless allegations against CM Usman Buzdar as the Punjab government introduced an e-tendering system to award contracts for the first time.
The mafia used to sell cattle markets in the past but the PTI has stopped this corruption and contracts are awarded on merit. Similarly, money is not extorted nor anyone is bribed now, she said.
