The bank statement, a document that shows you have sufficient financial resources for your stay in Italy. It should be no more than 30 days old.
Reports said the minimum daily required amount for bearing expense of stay in Italy stands at 28 Euros. An applicant is required to show the amount enough for the days he/she intends to spend there.
If you are planning to stay for maximum duration of 90 days on Schengen visa, you will require 2520 Euros to meet expense of the stay.
As of November 4, 2025, one Euro is equal to Rs331. It means you need to have around Rs834,000 in your bank account if your stay is for 90 days in Italy.
