RAWALPINDI – Field Marshal, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Asim Munir chaired 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference, vowing zero tolerance for Indian-backed terrorism as Pakistan’s top commanders reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and saluted the nation’s unity, Armed Forces’ courage, and media’s truth.

Field Marshal Asim Munir commended the operational preparedness and morale of Pakistan’s Armed Forces as he emphasized role of public support and divine guidance in national resilience and called on all commanders to maintain peak vigilance in the face of evolving threats.

“The people of Pakistan are our greatest strength,” he stated. “We remain committed to their trust and expectations in our shared struggle against foreign aggression, terrorism, and extremism.”

The forum hailed success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, paid tribute to all martyrs of Marka-e-Haq, and praised the Armed Forces’ precision and resolve in repelling aggression. Commanders lauded media, youth, and political leadership for countering Indian propaganda. Pakistan’s defensive posture and strategic restraint were noted as historic.

CCC members vowed zero tolerance for India-sponsored terrorism and reaffirmed full support for Kashmir’s just struggle.The high-level military forum undertook a comprehensive review of the internal and external security environment, reaffirming the Pakistan Army’s commitment to national defence, counter-terrorism, and safeguarding sovereignty.

Tributes were also paid to the martyrs of Marka-e-Haq, with the Forum vowing that their sacrifices would never be forgotten. It emphasized that the safety and security of the Pakistani people remain the top priority for the Armed Forces. Corps Commanders extended warm felicitations to the COAS on his recent conferment as Field Marshal, acknowledging his leadership, strategic vision, and steadfast contributions to national security.

A key highlight of the meeting was recognition of the successful conclusion of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, calling as defining moment in Pakistan’s military history. The professionalism and coordination of Armed Forces, along with the nation’s support, were praised for successfully neutralizing external threats with precision.

Participants also lauded role of Pakistani media and information professionals for countering hostile propaganda and misinformation, as well as the passionate support from the youth and the decisive leadership shown by political stakeholders during the recent national crisis.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve, the Forum declared that no act of coercion or aggression would be tolerated. “No one can coerce Pakistan through the use or threat of force. The nation will take all measures necessary to safeguard its vital interests,” the Forum stated.

The threat of Indian-backed terrorist proxies in Balochistan and KP was discussed in depth. The Forum noted India’s increased reliance on non-state actors to pursue destabilization efforts following its setbacks during the Pahalgam incident. A firm resolve was expressed to dismantle and eliminate all terrorist proxies and their facilitators through coordinated operations with intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

Officials also reviewed the situation along the Line of Control (LoC), Working Boundary, and Eastern Border. It condemned ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and called for immediate international attention to prevent further escalation in the region. Full political, diplomatic, and moral support was reiterated for the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for self-determination.
