FIA arrests two accused of Rs3.8m fraud


Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing arrested two accused of over 3.8 million fraud, recovered over 1.6 million rupees cash, cell phones and motorcycle.

Spokesman of FIA said that the Cyber Crime Wing Faisalabad arrested two accused Muhammad Mubeen and Muhammad Usman from Toba Tek Singh.

The culprits involved in fraud of over 3.8 million rupees used to change the cell phones of bank customers and transfer money their own accounts through banking applications. Detainee Muhammad Mubeen was working as manager in a private bank.

The FIA recovered Rs1698500 cash, two cell phones and a motorcycle from possession of the nabbed culprits and after registering a case against the detainees under PECA Act 2016, have started investigations.
