The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has electrified 71 villages in five circles of its region with an estimated cost of Rs 76.865 million during the last one month.
Spokesman Tahir Sheikh said on Saturday that FESCO completed 68 LT (Light Tension) proposals during this period with an estimated cost of Rs 42.053 million and five feeders with Rs 17.669 million in eight districts of its region including Faisalabad, Jhang, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Mianwali, Sargodha, Bhakkar and Khushab. Giving details, he said that 15 villages were electrified with Rs 11.036 million in Faisalabad circle, 10 villages with Rs 13.344 million in Jhang circle, 19 villages with Rs 21.172 million in Mianwali circle and 27 villages with Rs 31.313 million in Sargodha circle.
The construction of two feeders were completed with Rs 5.919 million in Faisalabad circle, two feeders with Rs11.5 million in Jhang circle, one feeder with Rs 0.25 million in Mianwali circle. Similarly, 19 LT proposals were completed with Rs 10.064 million in Faisalabad circle, 25 LT proposals with Rs 16.112 million in Jhang circle, 14 LT proposals with Rs.8.512 million in Sargodha circle and 10 LT proposals with Rs 7.365 million in Mianwali circle, he added.—APP
