ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has released the official gazette of results of the HSSC-II 1st Annual Examination 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 85.95 percent.
According to the result gazette, a total of 104,838 candidates were enrolled in the examination. Of these, 6,379 were absent, while 103,178 candidates were approved in the result process. The overall Grade Point Average (GPA) stood at 3.73.
Among regular candidates, female students recorded a higher overall pass rate than male students. Female regular candidates achieved a pass percentage of 91.65 percent, compared with 78.96 percent for male candidates.
The Humanities group recorded a total pass percentage of 96.42 percent among regular candidates, while the Pre-Medical group posted 95.49 percent. The Pre-Engineering group had a pass percentage of 86.67 percent, while Science General recorded 83.34 percent.
The Commerce group, which included female candidates in the reported results, recorded a pass percentage of 88.33 percent, while the Pre-Home Economics group recorded 90.52 percent.
The results for ex/private candidates were comparatively lower, with an overall pass percentage of 56.25 percent.
Among ex/private candidates, Humanities recorded an 83.31 percent pass rate, followed by Commerce at 54.55 percent, Pre-Medical at 50.36 percent, Science General at 47.03 percent and Pre-Engineering at 36.15 percent. The Pre-Home Economics group recorded a pass percentage of 56.25 percent.
