LAHORE – An official of Punjab police committed suicide after being tired of his prolonged illness in Factory area of Lahore, it emerged on Monday.
Reports said Head Constable Ghulam Ali shot himself at home. The police report states that Ghulam Ali was suffering from cancer and was attending a course at the Chungi Training Center during these days.
His family said Ghulam Ali was distressed due to the illness, but on the day of the incident, he became extremely depressed and committed suicide by shooting himself.
Local police have transferred the body to the morgue and initiated an investigation.
