The procedure for generating FBR challans and PSIDs for property e-registration in Punjab has been changed, according to information shared by the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA).

New Process to Generate E-Challan

Under the new procedure, effective from August 26, 2026, FBR challans or PSIDs required for e-registration will be generated through the PLRA e-registration system.

Previously, challans or PSIDs for e-registration could be generated directly through the FBR website.

Under the updated process, however, a challan generated directly from the FBR website will not be accepted by the PLRA e-registration system.

The change is aimed at creating a more integrated and automated link between the FBR and PLRA systems.
