FBR holds a training session on tax at NUST business school

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Tax Education department, conducted a training session at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Business School, Islamabad. The session was attended by students and faculty members of NUST Business School.

It is worth mentioning that organizing training sessions in educational institutions is a long-standing initiative of FBR’s Tax Education department. Memorandums of understanding have been signed with several educational institutions, including NUST, to facilitate these sessions.

The FBR team included Secretary of Tax Education, Mr. Muhammad Alam Zeb Khan, Second Secretary, Mr. Muhammad Zahid Awan, Inspector Salman Khaliq, and Coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Zia Farooqi.

Upon arrival at NUST Business School, the FBR team was welcomed by the Dean of NUST Business School, Dr. Naukhez Sarwar, Department Head Saad Al-Marwat, and other faculty members. The event was hosted by Ms. Mehreen, while Ms. Fizza Khan led the program, with Ms. Ramia Kiran serving as the coordinator from NUST Business School.

Secretary of Tax Education, FBR, Mr. Muhammad Alam Zeb Khan, highlighted the importance of fostering a tax culture among the participants and emphasized that by paying taxes, we can actively contribute to the nation’s development and growth.

The session also included a Q&A segment, where participants asked various tax-related questions, which were answered satisfactorily. Prizes were distributed among the students during the event.
