Faysal Bank, PIA join hands for national cause


Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), one of the leading Islamic banks in Pakistan, together with the national carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), have joined hands to promote the State Bank led initiative of Roshan Digital Accounts with the announcement of a promotional campaign for Faysal Islami Roshan Digital Account holders and PIA passengers in a momentous ceremony.
Faysal Bank is encouraging Overseas Pakistanis to open Faysal Islami Roshan Digital Accounts and remit a minimum of USD 1,000 (or its equivalent) for a chance to a win PIA return airline tickets from their country of residence to Pakistan.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President and CEO Faysal Bank Limited, said, “Faysal Bank is fully committed towards the State Bank led national cause of promoting the Roshan Digital Accounts and proud to partner with our national flag carrier towards this endeavor.
Faysal Islami’s Roshan Digital Accounts, Overseas Pakistanis can now easily avail a range of Shariah compliant banking and investment solutions such as Islamic Naya Pakistan Certificates with only a few clicks on their mobiles or computer while in the comfort of their homes. We look forward to more of such partnerships in the future where we can collectively serve our consumers with the best value proposition.”
Commenting on the alliance, Air Marshal Arshad Malik, CEO of PIACL added, “As the national flag carrier we feel honored to promote this national cause in partnership with Faysal Bank. Our partnership will allow us to serve Overseas Pakistanis through a comfortable journey back home.
