Another citizen fell victim to robbery-related violence as a father of three children was fatally shot outside an ATM in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, according to statements from both police and family sources.
The victim, identified as Turab Zaidi, was accompanied by a friend when they were intercepted by robbers while using the ATM, recounted his father, Nisar Hussain Zaidi. Narrating the harrowing ordeal, Turab’s father revealed that while his friend complied with the robbers’ demands, Turab chose to resist, resulting in him being shot and killed on the spot.
“Turab was employed at a call center,” he added. Nisar Hussain Zaidi further disclosed that Turab was the sole breadwinner for his family, comprising three children, including a toddler, and was also the only brother to three sisters.
