In a heart wrenching incident a father mercilessly killed his 15-year-old son late on Wednesday evening.
According to villagers, accused Shokat Mughal took his son Shakeel to the field on the pretext of irrigating the land where he allegedly strangled his son and later killed him with a sharp object.
The villagers claimed that the accused was suffering from a mental disorder for the past many years and had tried to commit suicide sevearal times but was saved by his relatives.
The area police reached the crime scene and shifted the body to Taluka hospital Mirpur Bathoro for autopsy.
