Re-elected unopposed JUI Chief for five years

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman who has been elected unopposed as the Amir of the part for the next five years during the party elections held in Peshawar Sunday, lambasted the PML N led government in the center for its “flawed policies” saying the fake parliament had no right to enact constitutional amendments.
“The parliament lacks the mandate; it’s a fake entity heaving no right to make constitutional amendments. We call for fresh elections so that the nation can have real representatives”. The farmer president of the Pakistan democratic Movement (PDM), of which the ruling alliance was also a member, told the media in the provincial metropolis after the party elections where in Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi was also elected unopposed as the Secretary General of the party.
Asserting that the current parliament totally lacked the legitimacy to make significant constitutional amendments, Maulana who has adopted a clear stance over the constitutional amendments and extension to the heads of state institutions, warned against underestimating his party’s resolve.
