The Karachi Tapeball Premier League (KTPL) season 3, inaugurated by the Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at Dha Sports Club Moin Khan Academy.
Defending champion DHA Dabangs and players from other teams were also present at the opening ceremony of season 3 organized by Pakistan Tapeball Foundation and Badar Expo Solutions.
Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and Caretaker Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah expressed their compliments for KTPL Season 3, described the event as a great platform for Karachi’s tape ball enthusiasts.
Celebrities including star cricketer JavedMiandad and KTPL Chairman ZohairNaseer once again spoke on their efforts for a successful event during the opening ceremony.
Prior to the inaugural match between defending champions DHA Dabangs and Clifton Popular teams, an exhibition match was also organized between Chief Minister Sindh XI and KTPL XI, which was attended by prominent politicians, actors and personalities from different walks of life.
DHA Dabangs, Clifton Popular, JoharJawan, GulshanGohar, Lyari Legends, Malir Mills, North Nawabs and Karachi Knights will participate in season 3, each team carrying the hopes and aspirations of their neighborhoods.
At the occasion, the chairman & CEO Pakistan Observer Faisal ZahidMalikas guest of honor of the ceremony has emphasized the importance of sports in promoting positive trends, mutual brotherhood, unity and providing opportunities to the youth in a healthy society.
He assured the support of Pakistan Observer for KTPL and the participating teams. KTPL Season 3 matches will be played at Moin Khan Academy till December 16, 2023.
