ISLAMABAD – Rumours circulate about major banking disruption in Pakistan as leading financial institutions allegedly suspend their services for three days.
As users claim Habib Bank Limited (HBL) announced complete temporary shutdown of all its services for three days, the bank denies it saying there is no such disrupton in banking services.
Earlier, Banks are carrying out scheduled maintenance aimed at overhauling and strengthening their core infrastructure. The upgrades are expected to significantly enhance both digital banking platforms and traditional branch services once the systems are restored.
