The non-profit organisation Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation (ACF) has been recognised and appreciated by Facebook San Francisco and UC – Berkeley for work done for animals. ACF was created with a vision to assist marginalised or forgotten communities, animals and humans alike, to be rescued and rehabilitated, to improve their quality of life, for everyone to have a fair chance to live their lives with dignity and respect.
CEO Ayesha Chundrigar said, “ACF Animal Rescue is so proud to be acknowledged at such a phenomenal international standard. It’s a huge honour to be nominated with such phenomenal women across South Asia. From starting with just a Facebook page and 5 followers to 6 years later, speaking at the Facebook Headquarters in California is just surreal to another level! Thank you to everyone on our page who has always had our back and supported us.
