The Gomal University Academic Staff Association (GUASA) and Officer Welfare Association (OWA) of Gomal University have appealed to the Governor KP Shah Farman to grant extension for next three years to the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Tamgha-e- Imtiaz for his tremendous services and matchless work in Gomal University. The president Dr. Badar and General Secretary, Dr. Shakeebullah GUASA demanded extension for three years for their worthy vice Chancellor who they said was working zealously day and night for the betterment of the University to raise its standard and ranking and bring it on the highest pedestal.
Both the associations were of the view that before the arrival Prof Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Tamgha e Imtiaz, the University was facing various fatal problems in all fields like academics, admissions, Finance, execution of statutes, rules and regulations, Discipline, Attendance, Examination System, Implementation of semester System in its true spirit and it was standing at so low pedestal that none was ready to joint it.
The day incumbent vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Tamgha e Imtiaz joined the University, they said, it started making progress upward speedily that has been proved by the increase in number of students ‘admissions to 13 thousands because he has implemented discipline, made employees punctual through bio metric system, started reward and punishment strategies.
