ISLAMABAD – The Cabinet Division used issue a calendar of public and optional holidays of an upcoming year in December-end.
As the year 2025 is approaching, the federal government is yet to issue a schedule of holidays for the next year. However, hers is the expected scheduled of the public holidays in Pakistan in 2025.
The first holiday across the country would be observed on February 5, and the next would fall on March 23 on account of Pakistan Day.
The government is expected to announce three holidays for Eidul Fitr in March while there would be Labour Day holiday on May 1.
It will be followed by Eidul Adha holidays while Ashura holidays will be observed on Muharram 9 and 10. There will be Independence Day holiday on August 14.
The government would also announced a holiday on the eve of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) in the month of Rabiul Awal while there will be Iqbal Day holiday on November 9
However, last public holiday of 2025 will fall on December 25.
The Cabinet Division is yet share the Holidays Calendar 2025 and it will be updated here as soon as it is announced.
