Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission Ch. Waseem Akhtar chaired an official meeting to review the monthly progress here in GOR I. Meeting was attended by Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari, Director General Overseas Pakistanis Commission Ahsan Waheed, Director (Revenue), Director (Legal) and other Deputy Directors.
Commissioner OPC gave a detailed briefing to the chair regarding progress made in resolving complaints. Rights of Overseas Pakistanis will be protected and illegal possession of their lands and hard-earned money will not be tolerated. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Pakistan Imran, PTI is the only political party to cater to the needs of Overseas Pakistanis as topmost priority, he said. Commissioner and dealing officers also shared valuable suggestions with Vice Chairperson to make the system more efficient.
Vice Chairperson and Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission gave directions to the officers to resolve the matters as soon as possible. Overseas Pakistanis are an asset to this nation who play a pivotal role in the economy of the country. He further said. Vice Chairperson Waseem Akhtar instructed the dealing officers to personally contact the complainants and monitor the complaints’ redressal progress.
