Vice chancellor Women University, Prof Dr. Ghazla Yasmeen on Wednesday said that Women University is a unique institution of its kind which has been established to promote literacy among females, particularly those who do not get the opportunity to go out from the walled security of their homes. She expressed these views while talking to the reporters.
Ghazla Yasmeen added that they have been conditioned to assume the responsibility of their households and play the roles prefigured for them befittingly.
She added that in order to keep pace with the ever growing literacy rate in developed countries, we need to extend the scope of education by offering it to females in rural or peripheral areas.
