Chairman, parliament’s Kashmir Committee and Minister of State for Safron and Narcotics Control, Mr Shehryar Khan Afridi Who visited Centaurus Mall on Friday said that the exhibition of Ghilaf e Kaaba and other relics of religious significance being held at Centaurus Mall at such a difficult time when people can not go to Khana-e-Kaaba, will provide great comfort and consolation to the people of the twin city.
Shaheryar Afridi urged the management of the Mall that they should extend the date of this exhibition because a large number of people still want to come to see this exhibition.
The administration of the Mall on his suggestion immediately extended the date till July 15.
Shehryar Khan Afridi visited the Centaurus Mall on Friday and saw the exhibition of Ghilaf-e-Kaaba, curtain of the door of Khana e kabba, the drape (chader) of Roza-e-Rasool and some other relics of religious significance. Mr. Afridi was very impressed by the exhibition, which is being held at such a difficult time will provide great comfort and consolation to the people who at present are going through a phase of great distress, depression and gloom because of the Corona pandemic.
Minister of State Afridi praised Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, Chairman, Punjab Board of Investment for his personal interest and efforts in holding this exhibition at such a difficult time when the whole nation is facing the challenge posed by the Corona pandemic.
He also expressed complete satisfaction on the implementation of all government SoP’s. Minister of State was also fully briefed on the security measures taken by the Centaurus Mall for the exhibition and also for the visitors.
This exhibition was launched on June 24 and so far thousands of people got the opportunity to witness the relics, some even came from far away towns and cities.
