Excise collects Rs58.91b taxes in three months

Director General Excise and Taxation Sindh Aurangzeb Panhwar has released the tax collection data of the province on Wednesday. These tax collection details are for the current financial year from July 2023 to November 2023.

Director General Excise and Taxation Sindh Aurangzeb Panhwar said that a total of Rs 58912.732 million (RS 58.912732 billion) tax was collected till November. Rs. 3827.509 million in motor vehicle tax, Rs. 51615.081 million in infrastructure cess, Rs.351.982 million in the form of professional tax and Rs. 64.216 million rupees in the form of cotton fee were received.

Director General Excise and Taxation Sindh Aurangzeb Panhwarsaid that Rs. 29.151 million tax was collected in the form of entertainment duty while the remaining amount was collected in the form of other taxes.
