European Union’s High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas will travel to Islamabad, Pakistan, on June 1 for a bilateral visit and the 8th EU-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue.
The HR/VP will meet President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, as well as the Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir.
On 1 June, the HR/VP @kajakallas will visit Islamabad for the 8th EU-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister @MIshaqDar50.
The discussions will focus on EU-Pakistan relations and regional cooperation.

The 8th EU-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue will be co-chaired by HR/VP Kallas and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
This is the eighth round of the Strategic Dialogue between the EU and Pakistan, providing an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations under the Strategic Engagement Plan, signed in June 2019.
HR/VP Kallas will hold a joint press conference with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
