The cryptocurrency market remained mixed on Friday, with bullish ethereum and flat bitcoin keeping the overall market in green zone, as market cap gained 1.7 percent to reach $2.36 trillion as of 1230 hours GMT.

The price of bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocur-rency, gained 0.08 percent to reach $50,046. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest cryptocurrency reached $941 billion.

However, ethereum (ETH) continued with its days-long bullish trend and its price jumped 4.05 percent to reach $3,935. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $461.3 billion. —TLTP
