In compliance with the instructions of Secretary Excise and Taxation Mukhtar Masood, a Special Call Center has been inaugurated at the FaridKot Excise Office. The purpose of this center is to remind every negligent vehicle owner to pay their taxes, as requested through the pre-warning sticker placed on their vehicles, urging them to promptly fulfill their token tax obligations.

The inauguration of the call center was carried out by Deputy Director Ch. Wahid. The call center, consisting of four telephone lines, will operate in two shifts of four hours each.

The spokesperson of the Excise Department further apprised that Punjab Excise Department had already launched a campaign against unregistered and tax-defaulting vehicles in Lahore. On this occasion, Director Excise Region-C, Muhammad Asif, stated that the establishment of this call center marks another milestone in the steps taken for public awareness. He urged the esteemed Pakistanis to refrain from driving the vehicles without proper registration and to timely pay their token taxes to avoid any inconvenience while travelling on the roads.
