The locations for these markets have been strategically chosen to cater to different areas within the district. In the Cantt areas, three cattle markets will be set up near Bhatta Chowk, Al-Haram City Mouza Misriot, and Gulistan Colony near National Park Rawalpindi. Additionally, cattle markets will be established at Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Sector 2 in the city area and at Rawat in Saddar division area.

In Tehsil Gujar Khan, a cattle market will be situated at Majeed Mor outside Prism Town on the main GT Road. Similarly, two markets will serve Tehsil Taxila,

located at New Sharif Hospital on the main GT Road and HIT near Sunday Bazaar in Taxila Cantt. To accommodate the residents of Tehsil Kallar Syedan and Kahota, two mandis for sacrificial animals will be set up at Mangal Bypass cattle sale point and Sakhi Sarwar Tingi Road respectively.

The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has successfully auctioned the fee collection rights for the cattle market in Bhatta Chowk, fetching Rs109.9 million. The entry fees for animals have been set at Rs3,000 for cows, bulls, and camels, and Rs2,000 for goats and sheep. An RCB spokesperson emphasized the transparency of the auction process and assured that the winning contractor would provide necessary facilities in accordance with the agreement. Veterinary doctors will be available in the markets to ensure the health of the animals, and strict measures will be taken to prevent the sale of sacrificial animals on roads and streets.

The RCB has pledged to maintain cleanliness and enforce standard operating procedures during the Eid-ul-Adha period, with teams deployed to monitor and regulate any illegal cattle markets in the cantonment areas. Violators of the directives will face appropriate actions, ensuring a smooth and hygienic Eid celebration in Rawalpindi. INP
