NUR Rehabilitation Clinic of NUR International University (NIU) arranged a Free Physiotherapy Camp for the patients of adjoining areas, at NIU Lahore. A dedicated team of 13 Specialist doctors and several trained students successfully treated more than 100 at this free Physiotherapy camp. Patients of different ages suffering from various ailments were able to recover from their prolonged disabilities and constant pain. Patients with physical conditions, including back pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis, sciatica stroke, sports injuries, cerebral palsy, etc., were treated effectively by specialized physical therapists while utilizing state-of-the-art medical equipment.
While visiting the camp, NIU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Najma Najam appreciated the team’s efforts, saying such events not only serve low-income patients but also help the students learn teamwork and its importance. She encouraged the team Nur Rehabilitation clinic to continue such services for better physical health awareness.
Leading the Department of Physiotherapy, Dean of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tahir Zahoor also visited the camp and expressed his satisfaction with the services and arrangements made by his team. While addressing the press, Dr. Tahir said this camp is not only for relief from physical ailments but also an opportunity to create awareness about physical health.
