In South Waziristan Lower (SWL) of District Press Club Wana NA-42 candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party Aman Ullah Wazir while holding a press conference along with his party workers and Advocate Ajmal Wazir said on Thursday, that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) take notice of the injustice done to the voters of constituency PK 110 of District Lower Waziristan.
They explained 182 polling stations for 290921 voters of Upper Waziristan and 94 polling stations for 172868 voters of Lower Waziristan. According to the Election Rules Act 2017, 1200 voters are required at 1 polling station while 300 votes should be cast at 1 polling booth.
They said that 94 polling stations have been set up for Lower Waziristan, which is 144 required as per the election rules, hile there should be 576 polling booths, They said that 117 polling booths are needed from start to 50 polling stations in Lower Waziristan.
PPP candidate Aman Ullah Wazir demanded that free and fair elections are essential that 117 polling booths should be increased at 50 polling stations in Lower Waziristan. In this regard, the PPP are also collecting the application, the details of polling booths and polling stations are available.
