Chairman Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Capital Office Qurban Ali and Coordinator Mirza Abdul Rehman have said that the economic murder of traders will not be tolerated under any circumstances and Pakistan cannot afford lockdown again.

In a joint issued here on Tuesday, the FPCCI Capital office bearers were of the view that putting the economy at stake is not wisdom and restrictions on business will completely destroy traders and industrialists, especially small businesses.

The said that the FPCCI will not leave its business brothers alone and the government should announce a special package for traders and ensure implementation of SOPs to avoid business community.

Qurban Ali and Mirza Abdul Rehman said that the recent ban on business in the country was tantamount to economic murder of traders which would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Traders devastated by the previous lockdown cannot afford another lockdown and sanctions.

The business community is fighting alongside the government against the deadly corona virus.

They said that the rush in the markets had also increased last year due to lack of working hours across the country.

Does the corona virus come out after 8 pm? Where is the wisdom in putting the economy at stake, they questioned.

The office bearers of FPCCI Capital office said that government should reconsider its decisions or else Pakistan’s economy will be completely destroyed.

The victims of last year’s Corona are barely able to stand on their own two feet.

Once again, lockdowns and sanctions will not be tolerated, which will be to the detriment of Pakistan’s economy.
